Tip of the Month

In the News!
If you live in the Pacific Northwest then you know that the insides of those darned booties just don't get dry like the outsides. Stuff your booties with wadded up newspaper. It helps absorb moisture and keeps the ankles from folding in on themselves trapping moisture. Every little bit helps!

WHAT WE DO: Family Fun on the Water! Look for us at Stone Lagoon, Big Lagoon County Park or Trinidad Cove.

Rentals, Guided Trips, Lessons, Fun!

Kayaking is the perfect outdoor activity for the whole family. We have human life jackets from size infant to XXL and doggy life jackets from XXS to XL.

Mom and Daughter with dog and puppy enjoy a kayak.

Come say hello at the Humboldt Lagoons State Park Visitor Center located right on Highway 101 at Stone Lagoon. We are five miles south of Orick, California, the southern gateway to Redwood National and State Parks, northern gateway to Humboldt Lagoons State Park and the home of the world’s tallest trees. Look for the truck and trailer at Big Lagoon most summer weekends and more.

Our benefit to reopen the Stone Lagoon Campground was a success! Ryan's Cove Primitive Campground is open. Get your permit at Patrick's Point State Park. Further funding will be needed to keep it open. Your tax-deductible donation can be made via PayPal to Explore North Coast.
